Shannon,
As you are applying for a job as a recruiter rather than a trainer, then your presentation objective should be to communicate your recruitment skills not necessarily your presentation skills. There are two ways to do this: present some aspect of recruitment theory such as ‘The Seven-Point Plan’ or present a real example of one of your recruitment successes. The latter is probably the best approach for someone who is not used to giving presentations especially if you whet their appetite for more information. There are four steps to this approach:
- Describe the general situation.
- Describe what you had to achieve.
- Describe what you did.
- Describe the results.
With such a short presentation, it is an advantage not to have to use OHPs or other resources. I hope the presentation goes very well for you. Here are some other links that you might find useful:
